Huss Valley Gems & Coins — Earning and Spending Guide
Earn while keeping your crossing alive. Gems buy permanent ability choices in the inspected guides; Coins pay for single-use consumables. The first spending decision is which kind of upgrade you actually need.
Two currencies, two kinds of spending
Roonby and Pro Game Guides describe end-of-match currency rewards based on performance. Their inspected text does not give a reproducible payout table for each crossing, catch or win.
| Currency | Guide-reported use | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Gems | Permanent abilities | Current price, role and equip requirements in the shop. |
| Coins | Single-use consumables | Current item price and whether your role can equip it. |
What the sources actually show
NoobBlox narrates +1 and +6 Gem pickups on the arena floor at about 6:24–6:47. CHALLS collects floor Gems during a crossing and also discusses Gems from winning. These establish possible reward sources and recorded pickup values, not identical payouts on every map.
- Finish the match and pay attention to the reward screen; guides describe performance-related rewards.
- Take a floor Gem when it lies on a safe route.
- Keep your escape route open; CHALLS’s run shows a greedy detour ending in a downed state.
- A video’s free-spin countdown is not evidence of a universal repeat timer or guaranteed reward.
A safer earning routine
Choose a normal responsive server
If your client offers region or ping information, choose a stable nearby server before judging close catches.
Prioritize the crossing
Watch Chaser positions and build momentum rather than starting with a detour toward a pickup.
Collect on your line
Pick up a Gem that does not force you into a watched lane or remove your lateral escape.
Keep helping only when safe
A revive can preserve teammates, but a camped player or a crowded Chaser field can make the attempt costly.
Check rewards and prices after play
Read your actual Gem balance and the current shop price. Use the ability comparison to decide whether you can buy now or should save.
Work out the remaining Gems
For a guide-priced ability, the comparison is simple: remaining Gems = max(0, listed cost − your current Gems). A Runner with 750 Gems has 250 left to reach a guide-priced 1,000-Gem Cloak or Emergency Airhorn. A Chaser with 800 Gems has 50 left for the listed 850-Gem Rocket Shoes.
This arithmetic uses the October 4 price snapshot. It does not translate into a number of matches because the inspected material does not establish the reward rate you would need for that calculation.
Avoid spending the wrong currency for the wrong result
If you need a repeatable role ability, compare Gem purchases. If you need a one-use escape or recovery effect, inspect the Coin consumables. A Rescue Kit has a different job from a permanent movement ability; buying one does not establish that you have unlocked the other.
There is no sourced exact consumable-price table in this research. Check the current item panel before spending instead of treating the ability prices as Coin prices.
